What’s next for Read2Rise (and a quick hello 👋)

New ideas, tools, and reflections, built to fit real life.

I’m Paul, and if you’ve been part of Read2Rise for a while, it’s lovely to meet you.
I’m a leadership coach and learning & development practitioner with over 20 years’ experience helping people grow through work without losing who they are. I wanted to share a quick update and give you a glimpse of what’s ahead.

First, a heartfelt thank you.
Christopher founded this newsletter with curiosity, care, and a genuine desire to share ideas that help people grow. His work has been instrumental in building this community, and I’m deeply grateful for it.

Christopher is now stepping back from the newsletter to focus on other projects, but his impact here remains significant. If you’d like to keep following his journey, you can find him here:

It’s been quiet here for a while and that’s okay. But it also makes this the perfect time for something fresh.

WHAT’S CHANGING?
You’ll still get thoughtful content on reading, reflection, and personal development but I’m also bringing a new focus on:

  • Leadership & professional development

  • Learning that fits real life

  • Tools that help you grow without burning out

THE FORMAT

This rhythm is designed to keep things useful and human – ideas you can try, and reflections you can carry.

from June you’ll receive two emails each month:

Week 1 – A Big Idea & a Tool
Practical and reflective. Expect:

  • A focused theme (e.g. habits, identity, self-doubt, feedback)

  • A short breakdown of an idea you can apply

  • A simple tool – a question, a download, or a quick practice

Week 3 – A Personal Reflection or Challenge
A bit more personal, a bit more real. Expect:

  • A moment from my own work or life

  • A leadership or learning tension I’m noticing

  • A thought to sit with – plus a prompt you can use for journaling or with your favourite AI coach

EXTRAS WORTH YOUR TIME

From time to time, I’ll also share:

  • Leadership themes I’m exploring or noticing in my work

  • A book, tool, or idea that’s worth your attention

  • Guest voices and writers who bring fresh perspective

  • First access to new short courses and resources I’m building

You’ll also start to notice some visual changes to this newsletter a bit more clarity, a bit more consistency. That’s because it’s becoming part of The Human Co. a new home for people-first leadership. Same voice, same values just a clearer identity to grow with.

If that sounds like your thing, I’d love for you to stick around. And if not, no worries there’s an unsubscribe link below.

Thanks again to Christopher for the work that brought us all here. I’m excited to see what we can build next.

Speak soon,
Paul
